Progressive Care Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Progressive Care Nurse to join our team at Corewell Health. As a Progressive Care Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.
About the Role:The Progressive Care Nurse will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You will work closely with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care to patients with complex medical needs.
Responsibilities:- Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans to meet their unique requirements.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal outcomes.
- Administer medications, treatments, and other interventions as prescribed by physicians, maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with patients and families.
- Monitor patients' conditions, identifying and responding to changes or complications in a timely and professional manner.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices that enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; BSN preferred.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Michigan.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
- At least one year of experience as a Registered Nurse in an ICU or Progressive Care setting; ICU experience preferred.
