Job Summary

The Early Elementary Curriculum Coordinator is responsible for providing educational resources and activities to support the spiritual growth and development of children in our community. This role focuses on the development and preparation of curriculum for the Early Elementary age group, ensuring that biblical lessons and concepts are effectively communicated.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and prepare age-appropriate curriculum for regularly scheduled Early Elementary Weekend services and Kids Club Elementary classes.
  • Train and equip Early Elementary staff and volunteer leaders to use curriculum effectively.
  • Research and implement cutting-edge curriculum ideas and innovations.
  • Assess the effectiveness of the curriculum through feedback from staff and volunteer leaders.
  • Recruit, train, and schedule curriculum prep volunteer teams.
  • Build, run, and equip weekly prep teams to ensure successful completion of necessary tasks and materials.
  • Engage in discipleship with staff, parents, and/or volunteers within the Kids Ministry.
  • Supervise classrooms/groups as required by the Kids team.
  • Attend classes, workshops, conferences, and other training opportunities for personal or professional growth.
  • Attend all staff meetings.
  • Volunteer/serve as needed for both Easter and Christmas Team CBC weekends.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Two (2) + years related work or volunteer experience.
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) & First Aid required.
Work Environment

Duties are performed in a ministry setting with occasional outside events/activities that require prolonged standing. The environment may be fast-paced and hectic at times, requiring the ability to effectively handle normal anxieties and manage multiple activities in a ministry setting.
