We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Head Start Teacher to join our team at Upbring. As a servant-leader, you will be responsible for creating a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for children ages infant through three. Your primary focus will be on planning, implementing, and administering the Early Head Start programming, ensuring that each child receives developmentally appropriate educational, relational, and social experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized learning plans for each child, taking into account their unique needs and abilities.
- Administer developmental screenings and assessments to identify areas of strength and weakness, and make data-driven decisions to inform instruction.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, fostering a sense of community and collaboration.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, keeping them informed about their child's progress and involving them in the learning process.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in early childhood education or a related field preferred.
- CDA in infant and toddler care with a minimum of 15 credit hours in early childhood development or education.
- 3+ years of experience in early childhood education, with a focus on infant and toddler care.
- Knowledge of infant and toddler health and safety licensing requirements.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) with the ability to fluently converse and write in Spanish, highly preferred.
