Job Overview

Southeastern Equipment Company is seeking a highly organized and skilled Service Advisor to join our team. As a Service Advisor, you will be responsible for managing service operations, scheduling, logistics, and communications.

The ideal candidate will have experience in service advisor or warranty administrator roles and be proficient in using multiple software programs. They will also possess excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively with manufacturers, vendors, customers, and technicians.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage service operations, including scheduling, logistics, and communications
  • Quoting, reporting, and standard procedures
  • Time management, including service, inspections, testing, and warranty
  • Shop and tool inspections
  • Understand and explain factory service and maintenance schedules
  • Evaluate the performance of the service department with respect to company plans
  • Work with parts personnel to ensure proper procedures, records, and reports concerning parts for service
  • Recommends the purchase of service vehicles and maintains the fleet
  • Administrative duties, including preparing reports, estimates, and forecasts, and maintaining warranty records
  • Oversee a shop of approximately 3-5 service technicians
  • Complete paperwork related to billing and warranty

Requirements:

  • Service advisor or warranty administrator experience preferred
  • Ability to use multiple software programs and toggle between windows
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively with manufacturers, vendors, customers, and technicians
