T-Mobile is a pioneer in innovation, and we're looking for a talented individual to join our team as a Credit Risk Insights Manager. This role is a key part of our efforts to disrupt the industry and shape the future of technology in wireless and beyond.

As a Credit Risk Insights Manager, you will be responsible for generating Credit Risk insights and analytics for leadership. This involves creating dealer insights reports, analyzing data, and providing analysis on Channel, Retailer, and Sales. You will also develop and communicate reporting insights to support strategic guidance and steering to Executive, Channel, Retailer, and Sales leadership.

In this capacity, you will identify process gaps, control gaps, and document gaps and work with all teams involved to craft new policy and practices that support the business and mitigate risk. You will leverage existing relationships and build out additional scope of relationship/influence to enable ease of acceptance and adoption.

This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to communicate effectively and build relationships. You will lead, organize, contribute, and deliver in a project environment and be familiar with working in an environment where key controls, precedent setting, and anti-trust situations are identified and avoided.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain internal and external partnerships to drive operational excellence across the team and TMUS.
  • Assist in business evaluations to identify future opportunities for improvement and barriers to achieving strategic and financial objectives.
  • Perform regular and ad hoc analytics reporting, credit and financial analysis, and recommended strategy pertaining to sales support and loss mitigation.
  • Support or lead efforts to operationalize new segments of business; act as project resource (SME) for new initiatives.
  • Generate reporting insights for Sales leadership including: Retailer performance benchmarking, operational feedback, steering, and cross-functional analysis.
  • Participate in routine meetings including bi-weekly cross-functional team sync calls and semi-annual VP/SVP sync calls, and act as a point of contact for issues with, and problem resolution and implications on a portfolio of accounts.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree - Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, or related degree.
  • 4-7 years - Industry experience in quantitative areas such as Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Operation Research, or Computer Engineering with coursework in Statistics.
