Position Overview
To safeguard Abbott's essential operations and uphold our mission of prioritizing those we serve, we are seeking a seasoned leader in Manufacturing Security. This role requires extensive experience in large-scale global manufacturing environments. Reporting to the Senior Director of Manufacturing Cybersecurity, the successful candidate will drive the people, processes, and technology enhancements necessary for effective cybersecurity risk management within the manufacturing sector.

Key Responsibilities
The selected individual will:
  • Oversee the strategic planning and execution of cybersecurity initiatives to protect critical Operational Technology (OT) infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with various sites and cybersecurity teams to enhance security measures while ensuring operational resilience and facilitating digital transformation.
  • Engage with global manufacturing locations to gain a comprehensive understanding of vital cyber processes and technologies.
  • Evaluate both emerging and existing cybersecurity tools, advocating for the adoption of robust standards and solutions to mitigate risks and enhance security postures.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in a global manufacturing context, focusing on cybersecurity activities related to OT and Industrial Control Systems (ICS).
  • A Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information security, or a related field.
  • A strong grasp of cybersecurity principles, risk management frameworks, and industry standards such as NIST Cybersecurity Frameworks and IEC62443.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • 3-5 years of experience with cybersecurity tools such as Armis, Splunk, and Sentinel One.
  • Relevant certifications, including CISSP, CISM, or GICSP, are highly desirable.
