Job Summary:
InsideHigherEd is seeking a dynamic and experienced Adjunct Faculty member to join our team in the Visual Arts department. As a part-time faculty instructor, you will be responsible for teaching courses in Art History, Graphic Design, Photography, Studio Arts, Painting, Drawing, Ceramics, and Art Theory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach courses in Visual Arts, including Art History, Graphic Design, Photography, Studio Arts, Painting, Drawing, Ceramics, and Art Theory
- Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of students
- Assess student learning and provide feedback
- Participate in program and curriculum review and development
- Recommend textbooks and instructional materials
- Attend faculty meetings and professional development activities
Requirements:
- Master's degree in the discipline of instruction or a related field
- Teaching experience preferred
- Subject matter/content expertise in Visual Arts
- Ability to respond to the needs of students using a variety of teaching methods
