Position Summary:
The Payroll Specialist is responsible for managing high-volume payroll operations while ensuring compliance with established procedures. This role requires exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a payroll accuracy rate of 99.5% or higher.
Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll Management:
Process complex payrolls in alignment with production schedules and SOX compliance. Ensure all manual adjustments are accurate and payroll queries are thoroughly reviewed. - Service Case Management:
Review and update service cases, adhering to service level agreements (SLAs) with a target of 98% closure within three days. - Retroactive Adjustments:
Calculate retroactive pay adjustments, ensuring all mass retros are approved with documented criteria. - Audit Support:
Assist payroll supervisors in gathering necessary information for internal and external audits. - Time Reconciliation:
Complete time reconciliations to ensure accuracy and document any discrepancies for audit purposes. - Training and Development:
Participate in mandatory training programs and seek self-development opportunities to enhance skills.
Additional Responsibilities:
Maintain effective communication regarding payroll updates, manage time efficiently to meet deadlines, and stay informed on all relevant processes and policies.
