Job Overview

The role involves welcoming and guiding patrons to their seats within the Complimentary Services Area, ensuring a polite and effective management of the dining space to guarantee customer satisfaction. It is essential to confirm that guests are either registered hotel visitors or paying customers for the Complimentary Services offered.

Compensation:

$15 - $16 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

PRIMARY DUTIES INCLUDE:

  • Warmly welcoming guests upon arrival and escorting them to their designated tables.
  • Verifying that guests are registered hotel patrons or paying customers in accordance with established procedures.
  • Striving to create an unforgettable experience for each guest.
  • Attending to guests requiring additional assistance, such as families with children or elderly individuals.
  • Providing detailed information about menu offerings and available alternatives for those with food allergies.
  • Carrying out general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning supplies as assigned to comply with health regulations.
  • Maintaining an accurate count of customers and monitoring table availability.
  • Responding promptly to inquiries and addressing guest needs in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Adhering to all organizational policies and procedures.
  • Following safety and security protocols diligently.
  • Understanding fire prevention measures and emergency procedures relevant to the department.
  • Utilizing protective equipment as necessary.
  • Reporting any unsafe conditions to a supervisor or manager.
  • Documenting accidents, injuries, near-misses, property damage, or loss to a supervisor or manager.
  • Ensuring a safe working environment by adhering to all safety and security guidelines.
  • Maintaining a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance as per the standards outlined in the team member handbook.
  • Assisting colleagues as needed to provide optimal service to guests.
  • Performing any other related duties as requested by a supervisor or manager.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • A combination of education and experience equivalent to a high school diploma or any other combination of education, training, or experience that provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • High school diploma is preferred.
