Position Summary:

The E-Commerce Operations Manager oversees all aspects of the online retail platform for Aztec Shops, Ltd. This role is pivotal in ensuring efficient order processing, website management, and an exceptional customer journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely processing and shipping of online orders, adhering to company policies for returns and exchanges.
  • Supervise the Amazon sales channel, ensuring prompt order fulfillment and accurate inventory management.
  • Recruit, train, and manage part-time staff to maintain optimal operational efficiency.
  • Create and update training materials and procedural documentation for staff use.
  • Utilize various systems and software for effective order fulfillment.
  • Collaborate with the Associate Director of Store Operations on budget management and expense tracking.
  • Work with the Buying Group to manage product listings and inventory levels on the website.
  • Regularly review and update website content for clarity and accuracy.
  • Partner with the Marketing team to develop promotional strategies and ensure all marketing materials are accurate.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and university personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and company policies.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in retail management is preferred, along with at least two years of relevant experience in e-commerce or retail operations.

Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and experience with web development tools is advantageous. Familiarity with HTML and Google Analytics is also beneficial.

Skills Required:

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively are essential. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to interact with various stakeholders.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to perform tasks that involve standing, walking, and lifting items up to 20 pounds. Proficiency in using office equipment, including computers and calculators, is necessary.

Work Environment:

This position involves working in both a warehouse and office setting, with potential exposure to various environmental factors.
