As a Field Service Trainer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering training services to our clientele within the Engineered Solutions division. Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Creation and Management of Training Materials: Develop, oversee, and disseminate training resources tailored to customer needs.
  • Customer Engagement: Collaborate with clients to identify training requirements and partner with the sales team to formulate proposals.
  • Coordination with Technical Teams: Work alongside a global network of Project Managers, Engineers, Technical Sales, and Field Service professionals to ensure effective training delivery.
  • Training Session Scheduling: Organize and plan training sessions that meet customer availability and requirements.
  • Project Management: Oversee training initiatives from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget management, and high-quality presentation materials.
  • Customer Training: Provide comprehensive training on maintenance, installation, operation, and startup processes.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Perform other related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical institution.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Able to establish and maintain effective relationships with colleagues, clients, and vendors.
  • Proficient in responding to inquiries from both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to comprehend and follow both oral and written instructions.
  • Familiarity with computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
Working Conditions
  • Approximately 75% of the role will be office-based, with the ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% of the time.
  • Office conditions are standard for a corporate environment.
  • Exposure to various conditions in a plant environment, including chemicals and noise, as well as potential work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Completion of safety training is required within the first year of employment and annually thereafter.
