As a Facilities Maintenance Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing apartments for new residents, addressing work orders, and managing small renovation tasks.
  • Responding to emergency maintenance requests promptly and efficiently.


Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be required to:

  • Perform intermediate plumbing tasks such as clearing blockages, replacing fittings, and troubleshooting leaks.
  • Handle basic electrical work, including fixture replacements and minor installations.
  • Conduct repairs on appliances, install and fix cabinets, and adjust doors as necessary.
  • Engage in painting and light carpentry, ensuring all areas are well-maintained.
  • Assist with custodial duties in common areas, including cleaning and waste management.
  • Support landscape maintenance efforts as time allows.


Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in property maintenance or a related field.
  • A valid driver's license and availability for weekend and on-call work.
  • HVAC and CPO certifications are preferred.


Physical Requirements:

This position requires:

  • The ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Climbing ladders and navigating construction sites with uneven surfaces.
  • Good vision and the ability to focus on detailed tasks.
