Event Sales Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Event Sales Manager to join our team at Gateway Professional Baseball, LLC. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating revenue through outside sales for all of our event spaces, including ABC Supply Stadium.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue and margin for our event spaces
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service
- Coordinate logistics and work with internal teams to ensure successful events
- Manage existing clients and ensure their event needs are satisfied
- Identify new sales opportunities and develop strategies to pursue them
- Develop and implement marketing campaigns to promote our event spaces
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create sales presentations and materials
- Manage budgets and analyze event performance to identify areas for improvement
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree and three to five years of related experience and/or training
- Proven sales track record and marketing experience required
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to build rapport and long-term relationships
- Knowledge of all company's products and services
- Must have excellent time management and planning skills
- Ability to direct the work of others
- Knowledge of food and restaurant environments and event planning
- Well-organized and detail-oriented with all guest services
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Physical Requirements:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
The key physical requirements of this position include the ability to walk and stand for an extended period of time, lift up to 30 pounds, and the use of standard kitchen and office equipment including computers.
Work Environment:
This is a regular, full-time, nonexempt position. Days and hours will vary to include evening and weekend work according to business needs.
