The Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Project Manager to lead our network simplification and modernization efforts. This role will be instrumental in driving business growth and customer satisfaction through the development and implementation of integrated project plans.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in project management, with experience in leading complex projects and developing strategic plans. They will be responsible for coordinating projects and programs across multiple business groups, ensuring timely delivery of objectives and identifying critical impediments to meeting project goals.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Manage one or more complex network simplification projects with separate yet interdependent deliverables, timelines, and objectives.
  2. Coordinate network simplification project meetings, develop and distribute timely meeting minutes, and track critical milestones, risks, and mitigations.
  3. Effectively communicate large-scale program status, risks, and issues to leadership, and present options and recommendations for resolution.
  4. Employ judgment to make business decisions about things that will impact the project, and have the authority to stop activities from proceeding when continuing to move forward would have a negative impact.
  5. Drive work and escalate to senior levels of the company to ensure projects are completed within specified due dates.
What We Look For in a Candidate
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification.
  • Knowledge of telecom industry network technologies.
  • Knowledge of business and technology work processes and the ability to use this knowledge when consulting across organizations.
  • Excellent communications and presentation skills, including the ability to summarize and concisely share key project information to all levels of the organization.
  • Outstanding ability to develop a strategic and tactical plan from a concept.
  • Outstanding ability to develop an integrated, cross-organizational program/project plan.
  • Proven ability to influence others and build trusting relationships with clients and peers.
  • 10+ years of program/project management work experience with a Bachelor's degree.
Compensation

The starting salary for this role varies based on the employee's primary work location. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, and compensation depends on each individual's qualifications.

Location-based pay ranges are as follows:

  • $111,480 - $148,630 in these states: AR, ID, KY, LA, ME, MS, NE, SC, SD.
  • $117,340 - $156,450 in these states: AL, AZ, FL, GA, IA, IN, KS, MO, MT, ND, NM, OH, OK, PA, TN, UT, VT, WI, WV, WY.
  • $123,210 - $164,280 in these states: CO, HI, MI, MN, NC, NH, NV, OR, RI.
  • $129,080 - $172,100 in these states: AK, CA, CT, DC, DE, IL, MA, MD, NJ, NY, TX, VA, WA.

As with the pay range variety based on the region of a country, specific offers are determined by various factors such as experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.
