We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Corporate Relations Coordinator to join our Development and Communications team at the Downtown Women's Center. This is a full-time, non-exempt position that will play a critical role in building and maintaining relationships with corporate partners, coordinating volunteer activities, and supporting the Center's public profile and fundraising efforts.
Key Responsibilities- Corporate Partnerships: Develop and maintain relationships with corporate partners, identifying opportunities for collaboration and securing resources to support the Center's mission.
- Volunteer Coordination: Manage communication and coordination with volunteer groups from corporate and community partners, identifying volunteer opportunities and coordinating logistics.
- Event Planning: Collaborate with the Development team to plan and execute large-scale events, such as the Homeless Count and Every Woman Gala.
- Database Management: Accurately track interactions, service hours, fundraising outcomes, and other metrics related to corporate and community partners in DWC's donor database.
- Communication: Provide presentations, host tours, and assist with volunteer orientations and trainings to educate supporters on women's homelessness and DWC's approach.
- Reporting: Collaborate with the Communications team to promote volunteer opportunities and spotlight stories, images, and testimonials from corporate and community partners.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in corporate relations, event planning, or a related field.
- Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a track record of building meaningful relationships and coordinating projects.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business, communications, or non-profit management.
- Commitment: Commitment to racial equity and social justice, with a recognition of the role of race, gender, and other identities in contributing to homelessness and inequity.
