Job Summary

The Branch Logistics Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of products to our customers. This position is responsible for managing the Logistics department, planning and coordinating daily activities, and supervising a team of Logistics personnel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the Logistics department to ensure efficient and effective operations
  • Plan and coordinate daily activities, including scheduling delivery employees and completing daily route preparation
  • Supervise and train Logistics personnel to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and deliveries
  • Collaborate with Corporate Purchasing to order special equipment and new products
  • Troubleshoot problems and resolve issues related to logistics and distribution
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of three years driving history required
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Good organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively in person, on the phone, and electronically
  • Knowledge of warehousing and inventory management
  • Knowledge of DOT, FDA, and OSHA regulations
Preferred Qualifications
  • Two years in Home Healthcare industry
  • Two years supervisory experience equivalent
  • Two years inventory management
Work Environment

The Branch Logistics Supervisor will work in a fast-paced distribution center environment, interacting with employees, customers, and vendors. The position requires frequent travel, including overnight stays, and may involve working in a variety of weather conditions.

The physical demands of this position include standing, walking, and lifting objects up to 36 inches high, with weights ranging from 10 to 160 pounds. The employee must also be able to push or pull objects weighing up to 60 pounds, and may be required to climb stairs or ladders.

The work environment is moderate, with occasional exposure to dust, fumes, and odors. The employee must be able to wear personal protective equipment, including a mask and gloves, and may be required to work in a cold storage environment.
