Job Summary

We are seeking an exceptional Associate Division Chief for our Gastroenterology Division, to be appointed at the Assistant/Associate Professor/Professor level, Clinical Scholar Pathway. The ideal candidate will share clinical and educational duties at both Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital and the University of Vermont Medical Center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the recruitment, education, and clinical quality efforts at the 4 upstate New York division sites.
  • Collaborate with the University of Vermont Larner College of Medicine and the UVM Health Network to advance the academic and clinical mission of the Gastroenterology Division.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance clinical quality, patient satisfaction, and educational programs.
  • Contribute to the development of the Gastroenterology Division's strategic plan and goals.
Requirements
  • MD or DO degree.
  • Board certification in Gastroenterology.
  • Experience in academic leadership and clinical quality improvement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
