About the Position

The Executive Chef is a key member of our culinary team, responsible for elevating the dining experience at Grand Living. As a seasoned culinary professional, you will oversee the planning, preparation, and presentation of all menu offerings, ensuring that every dish meets the highest standards of quality and presentation. Your expertise will be instrumental in creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes every meal a memorable experience.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement innovative menu concepts that showcase the best of seasonal ingredients and culinary techniques
  • Lead a team of culinary professionals to deliver exceptional service and quality in all dining venues
  • Collaborate with the Executive Director to ensure that culinary operations align with community standards and goals
  • Manage food costs, inventory, and labor to achieve optimal efficiency and profitability
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve culinary operations
Requirements
  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in food and beverage management, preferably in senior living or hospitality
  • Proven track record of success in menu planning, food cost control, and team leadership
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
