Job Title: Registered Nurse - NICU

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) team at Waukesha Memorial Hospital. As a Registered Nurse in the NICU, you will provide exceptional care to critically ill neonates and their families.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse in the NICU will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care to neonates and their families. This includes assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to neonates in the NICU, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse in the State of Wisconsin
  • Associates Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association or ability to obtain upon hire
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification or ability to obtain upon hire
  • Previous NICU experience preferred
