About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our team at ProHealth Care. As a key member of our neonatal care team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care to critically ill neonates.

Under the direction of a physician, you will manage neonatal patients using collaboration, consultation, and direct care. Your expertise will be invaluable in educating nursing staff, residents, and students.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain credentials with procedural privileges through the medical staff offices at WMH and OMH.
  • Maintain Neonatal NCC certification.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary mortality and morbidity rounds.
  • Participate and coordinate as needed in research activities within the NICU.
  • Provide procedural support to the ED for newborn/infant code blue.
Requirements
  • Displays a positive attitude about themselves, work, and staff.
  • Possesses excellent communication skills.
  • Meets all necessary competencies within 6 months of hire.
  • Possesses computer skills.
  • BLS and NRP upon hire.
  • Master Degree required.
