Resumen del Puesto:

Este puesto es responsable de realizar configuraciones básicas y soldaduras fundamentales según especificaciones. Cortar piezas y utilizar piezas pre-cortadas para ajustar según planos para construir o reparar componentes variados.

Funciones y Responsabilidades:

  • Preparar piezas pre-cortadas o construir piezas cortando con una llama. Afilar piezas para ajustar y ensamblar para soldar según dibujos o otras especificaciones, produciendo un trabajo de calidad de manera eficiente.
  • Unir piezas con tachuelas y limpiar para soldar final.
  • Aplicar tipo y tamaño de soldadura requerido según especificaciones.
  • Inspeccionar soldadura para defectos. Limpiar para pruebas.
  • Verificar planos para medidas y material adecuado. Preparar lista de materiales si es necesario.
  • Mantener un área de trabajo limpio y seguro y mantener el equipo en buen estado de funcionamiento.
  • Preparar soldaduras para Pruebas No Destructivas (NDE)
  • Identificar soldaduras con sello de identificación

Otras Funciones y Responsabilidades:

  • Completar cualquier documentación requerida.
  • Puede asistir a otras áreas de producción según sea necesario.
  • Realizar otras funciones asignadas por el supervisor.
  • Capaz de operar grúas y grúas de techo.

Requisitos de Calificación:

  • Experiencia previa de al menos seis meses.
  • Certificado en 1G Placa.
  • Deberá completar con éxito la prueba administrada por la empresa de soldaduras básicas a nivel de 1G Placa, incluyendo soldadura a palo y soldadura con núcleo de fundente.
  • Habilidad matemática básica para incluir cálculos de medidas.
  • Habilidad de comunicación verbal buena.
  • Capacidad para seguir instrucciones simples y complejas.

Requisitos Físicos:

  • Flexibilidad frecuente, estar de pie, arrodillarse, sentarse, agacharse, alcanzar, empujar/pullar, subir y bajarse y posición corporal incómoda.
  • Requisito de levantar y transportar de 45 libras.
  • Entorno no climatizado.
