About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Product Launch Manager to join our Core Technologies team at Apple. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for launching products on time, with high quality, and maximum customer availability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the key subsystems across all platforms that make iPhone, Apple Watch, Mac, and iPad great.
  • Collaborate with the core product development team and other functional organizations within Apple to ensure successful product launches.
  • Own the Core Technologies operations readiness and successful bring up of critical components for iPhone, iPad, Watch, Mac products, and other new products.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive closure on design/technical and operations issues.
  • Work closely with design engineering, process, quality, and procurement teams and external suppliers to ensure product manufacturability, testability, and supply chain responsiveness.
  • Lead operations development builds on-site at suppliers and drive successful mass production ramp up.
  • Communicate effectively with large multi-functional teams and executives to present program status and drive results.

Requirements:

  • Experience in manufacturing, process engineering, supply chain, or product development, with a consumer electronics background preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 30-35%.
  • BS or MS degree in Industrial, Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering, with an MBA a plus.
