Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain general ledger accounts and related activities for the production of financial statements and reports.
  • Reconcile, analyze, and review general ledger accounts in preparation for month-end close.
  • Prepare journal entries and reviews accounting classifications, in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Prepare documentation in support of external and internal audits.
  • Perform ad hoc reporting and analysis, and investigate issues providing explanations and interpretation.
  • Analyze and prepare financial statements, including balance sheets and statements of financial position.
  • Assist with the monthly quarterly end-close process for assigned businesses or groups.
Requirements
  • Currently in the final year of obtaining a bachelor's degree with a major in accounting from an accredited college/university.
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3.0 or higher cumulative GPA. Coursework to obtain degree must be completed prior to start of employment. Degree must be awarded and verified within 6-8 weeks following the commencement date at your school.
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel (pivot tables, vlookup, formulas, etc.).
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities and leadership potential.
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated presentation skills.
