Traffic Engineer

Pennoni, a leading consulting engineering firm, is seeking a Graduate Traffic Engineer to join its dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in traffic safety improvement projects and be proficient in traffic engineering tasks, including traffic impact analysis, safety evaluations, signal analysis, and design.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist with traffic engineering tasks, such as traffic impact analysis, safety evaluations, signal analysis, and design.
- Prepare signing and pavement marking plans, MOT/construction phasing plans, transportation management plans (TMPs), and lighting plans.
- Review traffic study reports from third parties for new developments and projects.
- Experience with OpenRoads Designer (ORD) and ProjectWise (PW) is a plus.
- Professional Organization participation, such as ITE, ASHE, and/or ASCE.
- Bluebeam PDF editor experience is a plus.
- Developing Maintenance of Traffic schemes, Construction Phasing, and Traffic Control Plans.
- Developing project cost estimates and specifications, including Special Provisions.
- Experience with lighting design software.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Experience with preparing technical reports and memorandums.
