Job Summary

At RightWorks Inc, we are seeking a highly skilled Highway Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality designs for highway and civil projects. Your expertise in Uniform Traffic Control Devices, Highway Capacity Manual, and AASHTO A Policy on the Geometric Design of Streets and Highways will be essential in ensuring our projects meet the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce designs for new or rehabilitation roadway projects, bridge-related projects, or general site/civil improvements
  • Apply standards and analysis techniques to ensure project quality and accuracy
  • Communicate effectively with the design team and stakeholders
  • Manage and mentor less experienced engineers
  • Oversee project engineering responsibilities, including communication, schedule, budget, and progress

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
  • PE License
  • Experience with MicroStation, Geopak, and AutoCAD
  • Working knowledge of CADD standards for MDSHA, DelDOT, DDOT & VDOT
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • 5-8 years of design experience in the Mid-Atlantic Region
