Position Summary:
Under the guidance of the Distribution Sales Manager, this role is dedicated to delivering customer solutions related to our product offerings. The focus is on achieving optimal efficiency and effectiveness while demonstrating the capability to devise solutions for various challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build customer trust by effectively addressing complex inquiries, which includes customer interaction, vendor investigation, quotation formulation, and liaising with branch sales teams as necessary.
Provide technical guidance and support to team members, including all branch sales personnel.
- Identify and enhance processes to improve operational efficiencies and develop supportive alternatives.
- Handle incoming phone inquiries while engaged in the phone queue.
- Assist customers in purchasing Ace products.
- Employ effective research techniques to deliver prompt solutions to customer requirements.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of customer orders and the information provided to identify solutions.
- Respond to customer inquiries and requests promptly and appropriately.
- Recognize potential additional sales opportunities and refer them to the Business Development team.
- Demonstrate diligence throughout the sales process to ensure all calls are answered and customers receive timely assistance.
- Exhibit professionalism and courtesy in all communications with customers and colleagues.
- Utilize software tools such as NetSuite and Big Commerce to fulfill job responsibilities.
- Oversee the completion of purchase orders.
- Process distribution orders accurately.
- Calculate customer discounts with precision.
- Support both customers and internal teams as needed.
- Answer incoming calls to the main operator extension and direct them appropriately.
- Expedite and monitor order status.
- Provide freight estimates and invoice requests.
- Manage returns effectively.
- Confirm customer orders.
- Assist distribution team members as required.
- Perform other assigned duties.
