Job Title: Maintenance I-ARP

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Amcor plc. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our injection equipment and maintaining high-quality production output.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain standard production objectives through proper machine operation and record production accurately
  • Make necessary machine adjustments during start-ups and maintain consistent machine operation and product quality
  • Perform quality assurance tests using measuring devices and basic math skills, and enter resultant data into the computer system
  • Understand start-up and shut-down procedures to minimize downtime and equipment wear and tear
  • Ensure proper and safe operational conditions of all production and related equipment
  • Improve production equipment, utilities, efficiency, and reliability
  • Actively participate in quality training and Good Manufacturing Practice meetings to assist in continuous improvement of plant operations
  • Recommend, plan, repair, modify, and fabricate necessary elements following a problem or project
Requirements:
  • Ability to prioritize tasks
  • Knowledge in hydraulic and pneumatic equipment/procedures
  • Basic knowledge in electricity and control
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Must be able to coordinate movements quickly and accurately in a high-output production area
  • Must be willing to accept any other duties/changes to position to fit the needs for production as requested by Manager
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 3 years in a high-speed manufacturing environment
