Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance tasks on aircraft, including inspections, repairs, and replacements of parts
- Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures to identify and resolve issues with aircraft systems
- Collaborate with other technicians and supervisors to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including logs and reports
- Comply with regulatory requirements and company policies related to aircraft maintenance
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate issued by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an A&P mechanic, with at least 3 years of experience on high-wing Cessna 206 series, King Air series, Challenger, Citation, Bell 407, 412, AS350, or MD-500 helicopters or similar aircraft
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy equipment and parts
- Moderate knowledge of aircraft sheet metal/structural modifications and repair
- Working knowledge of composite repairs
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Justice (DOJ) Security Clearance
- Valid US Passport and necessary vaccinations for international travel
- Class A CDL with HAZMAT endorsement
The Aircraft Maintenance Technician will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines and changing priorities. The technician will be required to work in a hangar with good ventilation and airflow, as well as in outside weather conditions. The technician may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes, or airborne particles, and risk of electrical shock. The technician will be required to wear personal protective equipment, including eye protection, ear protection, hand protection, respirators, masks, aprons, leather safety shoes, steel toe shoes, fall protection harness, and other equipment as needed.
