Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and maintain the internal HR database, ensuring all employee records are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Facilitate the onboarding journey by assessing and enhancing the effectiveness of onboarding initiatives.
  • Coordinate the onboarding, background checks, and drug screening processes, managing scheduling and tracking.
  • Monitor the progress of new hires to ensure they are adapting well to their roles.
  • Assist in the recruitment process by providing relevant information to prospective candidates and hiring managers.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure new hires receive the necessary support and resources.
  • Process essential pre-employment checks, including background screenings and drug tests.
  • Address employee inquiries with the utmost confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Stay informed on current HR trends and issues.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Proficient in HRIS and other HR-related software.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in an HR Administrator or HR Assistant role is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with HR best practices and current trends.
  • Understanding of HR-related legislation and compliance requirements.
  • Certification in Human Resources (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.

Work Environment:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
