About the Role

The Workplace Experience Host is a vital member of our Workplace Experience (WE) team, responsible for creating a warm and welcoming environment for our clients and colleagues. This role will be based in our Silicon Valley office and will require an in-office presence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Front Desk Support: Provide exceptional customer service to all personnel and external visitors, ensuring a positive and productive experience.
  • Visitor Management: Register visitors, coordinate with building security and administration, and ensure seamless check-in and check-out processes.
  • Communication: Answer all calls and inquiries at the front desk, providing accurate and timely information to clients and colleagues.
  • Daily Workflow Support: Anticipate internal and external guest needs by understanding in-office services and work areas, and provide tailored support to ensure a smooth experience.
  • Guest Profiles: Build and maintain guest profiles to provide personalized support and enhance the overall experience.
  • Technology Tools: Execute processes and strategies for in-person client support utilizing our Workplace Experience technology tools, including EMS, ENVOY, LW Go, CIC, and others.
  • Conference Center Support: Coordinate internal and external office events in accordance with local responsibilities, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional client experiences.
  • Amenity Spaces: Maintain and clean amenity spaces, pantries, cafes, soft seating areas, and other spaces to ensure a welcoming and productive environment.
  • Food and Beverage Experience: Execute the food and beverage experience, including menu planning, sourcing new vendors, setup, presentation, and breakdown.
  • Confidentiality: Protect and maintain highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins LLP retains.
Requirements
  • High EQ Skills: Possess high emotional intelligence skills and have the ability to respond with appropriate behavior.
  • Communication Skills: Display the ability to communicate effectively and adapt with ease.
  • Education: A High school diploma or an equivalent.
  • Experience: A minimum of two (2) years of hospitality or customer service management experience.
