Sr. Project Engineer

Job Description:

As a seasoned project manager, you will be responsible for leading the implementation of a new e-commerce platform. This involves working closely with the business and selected e-commerce partner to identify, select, and implement the platform, ensuring all requirements are met.

You will define and manage the IT project plan for the development/configuration and implementation of the new e-commerce platform. This includes steering the project goals, scope, deliverables, timeline, and budget, as well as serving as the main point of contact for internal stakeholders and the e-commerce partner.

Key responsibilities include managing necessary resources, supervising testing phases, and ensuring the implementation of a robust QA process. You will also support teams in resolving technical or other issues during the project and escalate issues where needed.

Additionally, you will identify and evaluate risks that may jeopardize project progress and take proactive actions to manage them, working closely with the business.


Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience supporting/managing an e-commerce platform.
  • At least 5 years in IT project management within the e-commerce ecosystem.
  • Knowledge of e-commerce platforms and experience integrating systems such as ERPs, CRMs, and payment systems.
  • Experience with various project management methodologies such as Prince2, Agile, Scrum.
  • Familiarity with cloud solutions (AWS, Azure) and modern web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Familiarity with DevOps processes, CI/CD, and basic knowledge of software development.
