Job Description:
This Family Support Specialist role is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of families with young children. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive home-visiting services, assessing family needs, and developing personalized plans to achieve child and family development goals. You will also establish and maintain relationships with community resources to ensure families have access to necessary services. If you are passionate about supporting families and promoting positive child development, this role may be an excellent fit for you.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct home visits to assess family needs and develop individualized plans to achieve child and family development goals
- Provide parenting support and facilitate groups to empower parents and promote positive parent-child interactions
- Establish and maintain relationships with community resources to ensure families have access to necessary services

Candidate Requirements:
- Associate's degree in Social Work, Child Development, or a related field (Bachelor's degree preferred)
- At least one year of experience working with families with young children
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

What We Offer:
- Competitive salary range: $38,400 - $45,000 per annum, depending on experience

Location:
Hybrid remote/in-office setup, with regular in-home visits to families in Champaign, Vermilion, Ford, and Piatt counties.
