The Champaign Urbana Public Health District seeks a highly motivated individual to join our team as an UNPAID Internship. As an IPLAN intern, you will be working closely with our county-wide health planning process to create long-term solutions for priority health concerns.
About the Position:
- We are currently seeking 3 interns for Spring 2025 to actively participate in public health from behind the scenes.
- Interns will work directly with the county-wide health planning process of Champaign and Vermilion Counties.
- Responsibilities include collecting, maintaining, and sharing up-to-date statistics, relevant webinars, grant proposals, and other evidence-based information on priority health areas.
- IPLAN interns will meet with at least 3 community leaders or subject matter experts to expand community understanding of priority health priorities.

The Illinois Project for the Local Assessment of Needs (IPLAN) is a community-driven process addressing the current public health landscape, identifying areas of health improvement needed, developing strategies to meet community health needs, and carrying out strategies to improve health outcomes.
