Job Title: Microwave Engineer

This is a Staff position in our Engineering Department at Microtech, Inc. The successful candidate will design and optimize passive microwave component designs using Ansoft HFSS and Mig WASPNET electromagnetic simulator software. Mechanical designs will be created using AutoCad, AutoDesk Inventor 3-D, and ProEngineer three-dimensional modeling software. The candidate will also assist the Sales Department in technical sales and provide support for the development of new products.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and optimize passive microwave component designs using Ansoft HFSS and Mig WASPNET software.
  • Create mechanical designs using AutoCad, AutoDesk Inventor 3-D, and ProEngineer software.
  • Assist the Sales Department in technical sales and provide support for the development of new products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new product designs.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in microwave engineering.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with Ansoft HFSS, Mig WASPNET, AutoCad, AutoDesk Inventor 3-D, and ProEngineer software.
  • Strong understanding of microwave engineering principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Work Environment:

Monday through Friday, 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.
