About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior System Administrator to join our team at Bowman Williams. As a national specialized staffing firm for Cloud Service Providers and Managed Service Providers, we are committed to delivering exceptional customer service experiences to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide end-to-end client support with a broad-based IT background, including technical understanding of networks, protocols, security configurations, and identity and access management.
  • Deploy on-premises and cloud-based technology solutions utilizing current security best practices.
  • Configure and deploy multi-factor authentication technologies such as Microsoft MFA and Cisco Duo.
  • Install, configure, maintain, and monitor client server environments with an emphasis on Windows Server 2012, 2016, 2019, and 2022.
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP, DNS, IIS, and Remote Desktop as well as Microsoft Exchange, both on-premise as well as with Microsoft 365.
  • Create and maintain internal and client-facing documentation.
  • Ability to work within a ticketing system, prior ConnectWise Manage experience a plus.
  • Exposure to networking with the ability to troubleshoot common networking issues.
  • Design, configure, maintain, and monitor WAN and VPN connections to remote divisions requiring a core knowledge of Thin Client, TCP/IP, IPSEC, SSL, RDP, and VPN protocols.
  • Implement and support backup and disaster recovery solutions such as Veeam Backup & Replication.
Requirements
  • Passion for delivering remarkable customer experience and success with a commitment to integrity and excellence.
  • Previous MSP experience required.
  • Experience in consulting, ability to work well in multiple client settings.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based technologies such as Microsoft Azure and Office 365 and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Ability to work in a hybrid WFH schedule after annual review.
