**Job Description:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team at 1st Choice Material Handling LLC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex issues with internal combustion and electrically powered material handling equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance
  • Lubricate and perform preventive maintenance on equipment
  • Use advanced diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot issues
  • Read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
  • Generate and process maintenance repair orders using a CMMS
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance
  • Working knowledge of AC/DC electrical systems
  • Familiarity with welding, fabrication, and body work
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Salary Range:

The estimated salary range for this position is $65,000-$85,000 per year, based on industry standards and market rates.
