Salary and Benefits
The estimated annual salary for this position is $52,000-$73,600, depending on experience. Job Description
We are seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic A to join our team at our Memphis Mill Services location in Memphis, TN. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing all functions related to the repair and maintenance of heavy-duty off-road construction equipment. This includes dismantling and reassembling trucks, machines, and equipment to gain access to problem areas, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, visually inspecting and listening to machines to identify causes of malfunctions, and utilizing diagnostic software to troubleshoot issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates must have 7+ years of experience as a heavy equipment mechanic, a mechanical aptitude, knowledge of off-road heavy equipment, and experience with diesel engines, hydraulics, braking systems, electrical systems, drivelines, steering mechanisms, and suspensions. Additionally, the ideal candidate should be able to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, or crawl under or on top of equipment, manipulate components in hard-to-reach places, and possess good verbal and written communication skills. A valid driver's license is also required.
