About the Role

Finger Lakes Community Health is seeking a skilled Dentist to join our team. As a Staff Dentist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide routine and emergency dental services, including diagnosis and treatment plans, general restorative procedures, and minor oral surgery.
  • Order and interpret x-rays, administer and prescribe anesthetics and medications, and direct dental staff to schedule follow-up appointments as needed.
  • Supervise site dental staff to ensure patient care meets appropriate dental standards.
  • Maintain accurate and timely dental records, charting and locking notes in accordance with Finger Lakes Community Health policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • A current unrestricted license to practice as a Dentist in NYS.
  • CPR certification required.
  • 1-3 years of experience working in a dental setting.
  • The ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings.
  • A valid NYS driver's license in compliance with FLCH driver's policy.
  • The ability to communicate fluently in both Spanish and English is preferred.
