Responsibilities
  • Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Communicate with customers on parts status, providing timely updates and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Work closely with staff and customers to provide friendly and professional service, ensuring a positive experience for all.
  • Review body shop estimates to ensure parts ordered are correct and pricing is in line with the estimate.
  • Provide high-level service to internal and external customers, meeting their needs and exceeding expectations.
  • Pull and fill orders from stock, maintaining a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
  • Conduct weekly bin checks to ensure stock accuracy and notify the parts manager of any discrepancies.
  • Locate out-of-stock parts from outside sources and submit emergency orders as needed.
  • Ensure all internal requests for parts are billed on service repair orders.
  • Receive payment from retail customers or obtain credit authorization, as necessary.
  • Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in auto parts sales preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules and operating instructions.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts, including discounts and percentages.
