Job Summary

Henry Ford Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Behavioral Health Operations Manager to lead our Counseling Detox Rehab department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing daily operations, developing departmental goals, and overseeing performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict resolution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage behavioral health daily operations, including developing departmental goals, standards, and objectives.
  • Assess quality of patient care and coordinate patient care services.
  • Oversee performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict management.
  • Perform and oversee scheduling, recruitment, and payroll.
  • Monitor departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts, and vendor relations.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree/Technical degree with 2 years of experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.
  • 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
  • LPC, CCS Substance use disorder treatment preferred.
  • Certification/Licenses Required: One or more of the following required: Master Social Worker specializing in Clinical Practice credentialed from the Michigan Board of Social Work obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date, Master Social Worker credentialed from the Michigan Board of Social Work obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date, Counselor specializing in Alcohol and Drug Abuse credentialed from the Michigan Certification Board for Addition Professionals (MCBAP) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date, Psychologist credentialed from the Michigan Board of Psychology obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date, Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date, BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association accepted.
