Asset Management: Regulatory Solutions

We seek innovative investment solutions to help our clients meet their financial goals. Our team works with specialists and groups from around the firm to navigate changing markets and provide a diverse offering of product solutions. We provide financial planning, investment management, banking, and comprehensive advice to a wide range of clients, including ultra-high net worth and high net worth individuals, family offices, foundations, and endowments, and corporations and their employees. The Asset Management Strategic Transformation Office

This office oversees comprehensive large-scale transformations, enhancing scalability, driving revenue growth, improving client experience, and elevating controls to optimize our operating platform. Our team comprises four critical functions: Product Management & Design, Change Management, Regulatory Management, and Monitoring & Testing.

Regulatory Solutions in Asset Management

Our global AWM Regulatory Management team acts as the key partner for the AWM business, managing the regulatory strategy and roadmap. We review the regulatory horizon, analyze upcoming regulations, and assess their impact on our business, products, activities, and investors/consumers. We represent the views of the business on regulatory change governance forums and perform regulatory due diligence for new business activities.

Your Role in Regulatory Solutions

  • Build strong senior stakeholder relationships to propose solutions for new regulatory changes.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the Asset and Wealth Management business through analyzing the applicability and impact of new regulatory policies and rules.
  • Collaborate with the team, key stakeholders, and regulatory experts to break down complex problems and drive the timely delivery of analysis and agreed approach.
  • Exert influence and impact to drive the engagement, impact analysis, and agree key implementation considerations.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Minimum 7+ years' relevant experience in a comparable role.
  • Understanding of asset management products, the wealth management investment platform, and wider operational platform/ecosystems.
  • Preferred 5+ years' experience in the consulting industry, preferably regulatory change/consulting and working in the capital markets/asset management practice.
  • Preferred 3+ years' experience working as part of a business or regulatory function owning the regulatory strategy, roadmap, analysis, and implementation of new regulations for the business.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, data analysis skills, and ability to provide creative and innovative solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, written and oral; confident in interaction with senior stakeholders.
