About the Role
As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist-Imaging Casual PRN Variable at Northwestern Medicine, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and imaging services. This position requires a strong foundation in nuclear medicine technology and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide nuclear medicine imaging and patient care services at defined levels to patients.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of nuclear medicine technology and its applications.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and best practices in the field.
- Participate in on-call rotations and weekend coverage as required.
Requirements
- Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
- Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technologist program.
- BLS Certification.
- Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or ARRT Registered Technologist RT(R).
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
