Role Overview:

As a Product Manager at Perpay, you will be instrumental in steering the growth and effectiveness of our product suite, with a particular emphasis on our flagship Marketplace product. Your responsibilities will encompass everything from e-commerce shopping experiences to the credit-building payment plans available to our Marketplace customers. You will oversee initiatives from concept to implementation, anticipating customer needs and devising suitable solutions. Collaboration with fellow product managers, engineers, data scientists, designers, operations, marketing, compliance, and other cross-functional teams will be essential to ensure our products exceed customer expectations. Your strategic insights, leadership capabilities, and market understanding will be vital in guiding the future of Perpay.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to uncover customer requirements, market dynamics, and competitive positioning.
  • Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of our target audience, ensuring that the product aligns with their needs and expectations.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, and data science teams to enhance team synergy and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Track key performance indicators and user feedback to continually refine and enhance the product.
  • Lead cross-functional teams throughout the product development process, from ideation to launch.
  • Formulate product strategy, planning, scoping, and prioritization of projects to meet our objectives.
  • Represent the team to partners and senior leadership to align resources and priorities.
  • Define features, draft product and technical specifications, organize user research, assist in writing test plans, and manage the product backlog.
  • Act as a product advocate, effectively communicating the value and benefits of the product both internally and externally.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in product management.
