NICU Registered Nurse

We are seeking an experienced NICU Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team of healthcare professionals. As a NICU Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to critically ill newborns and their families.
Responsibilities- Coordinate safe, efficient, and therapeutically effective nursing care for patients assigned to the NICU
- Participate in strategic planning, service delivery, program development, evaluation, and implementation, budget and resource management, cost control, contract compliance, and quality improvement
- Support patient safety initiatives and quality improvement activities
- Work as a registered professional in the capacity of Charge RN, providing care for patients for an assigned time
- Maintain current competency with nursing skills required and demonstrate knowledge regarding Standards of Care and Standards of Practice in the NICU
- Demonstrate knowledge of principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of patient status and interpret the data appropriately to identify patient requirements specific to the patient's age
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred
- Current licensure in Nevada as a Registered Nurse
- Current BLS required
- Current NRP required
- S.T.A.B.L.E. within three months of employment
- Pass Level II Nursery Competency exam with a score of 80%
- Proficiency in newborn care procedures and skills, including assessment and stabilization required
- Minimum of 2-year recent nursery experience
- Certification in STABLE preferred
- Proficiency in the Resuscitation and Stabilization of the Neonate
- Successful completion of the AAP/AHA Neonatal Resuscitation Program Provider Level
