Job Title: Psychometric Rater

Charter Research is a leading clinical research company seeking a skilled Psychometric Rater to join our team. As a Psychometric Rater, you will play a crucial role in administering and interpreting quantitative and qualitative tests to measure neurological and psychological variables related to various diseases.

Responsibilities:
  1. Administer psychometric rating scales to patients and calculate results to determine protocol eligibility.
  2. Ensure excellent communication with clinical staff, sponsors, and patients regarding ratings issues.
  3. Maintain accurate source documentation and complete monitor and sponsor queries in a timely manner.
  4. Manage conversations with patients who become upset or frustrated during the rating process.
  5. Ensure patient safety by responding to potential harm to self or others identified through evaluations.
  6. Review ratings across studies and subjects to ensure efficacy and consistency.
  7. Identify potential problems or inconsistencies and take action as appropriate.
Requirements:
  1. Master's degree (or PhD) in psychology, mental health, counseling, or related field.
  2. Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) strongly preferred.
  3. One year of experience in psychometry or a field that includes patient assessments.
  4. Knowledge of rating scales such as ADAS-Cog, ADCS-ADL, CDR, CGI, C-SSRS, FAQ, FCSRT, GDS, MDS-UPDRS, MoCA, MMSE, RAVLT, RBANS, SLUMS, WAIS-IV, and WOMAC.
Working Conditions:
  1. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  2. Ability to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
