Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Utilizing expertise to diagnose and repair vehicles for clients.
- Gaining experience as an automotive mechanic across a diverse range of domestic and international vehicles.
- Conducting thorough and honest vehicle inspections.
- Collaborating with team members to address customer concerns promptly and effectively.
- Adhering to and promoting high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization.
- Coordinating with the service department to communicate customer issues clearly.
- Working alongside fellow technicians to troubleshoot problems, meet deadlines, and achieve outstanding results.
Qualifications:
- Positive demeanor and a strong desire to assist customers.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic.
- ASE Certifications are preferred, or a commitment to obtain them.
- Ability to diagnose and repair various makes and models of vehicles.
- Consistently meet or exceed performance goals.
- Willingness to learn new skills and processes.
- Professional appearance and effective communication skills.
- A commitment to long-term career growth.
Physical Requirements:
- Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds.
- Ability to work with tools on vehicles positioned above head height.
- Comfortable working in confined spaces as required by vehicle repairs.
- Dexterity to efficiently use hand tools.
- Ability to walk or stand for the majority of the workday.
- Capable of driving manual transmission vehicles.
- Proficient in navigating computer systems.
