Construction Manager for Luxury Homes

As a Construction Manager with our team, you'll play a vital role in delivering top-notch projects while fostering strong relationships with clients, partners, and colleagues.
Responsibilities and Expectations- Strategically manage project schedules, budgets, resources, and documentation throughout the entire construction lifecycle.
- Maintain open and effective communication channels with teams, clients, stakeholders, and design partners.
- Proactively address design developments, challenges, opportunities, and changes with flexibility and responsiveness.
- Evaluate and recommend cost-saving measures through value engineering.
- Ensure timely completion of tasks and maintain accurate records.
- Manage subcontractor relationships, including RFPs, bid management, contracts, scope of work, payment, evaluation, safety compliance, retainage, and close-out.
- Coordinate materials-related activities, such as submittals, change orders, take-offs, pricing, and orders.
- Oversee project documentation, including owner's manuals, submittals logs, job logs, safety documentation, project communication files, and permitting.
- Review shop drawings for windows, cabinets, and other building elements as needed.
- Verify project closeout, including warranties, materials, finish schedules, and conduct post-construction reviews.
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- 5+ years of high-end residential construction experience.
- A Construction Management degree or relevant education plus experience.
- The ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
- Excellent communication, team-building, and mentoring skills.
- Technical knowledge and ingenuity.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Project, BlueBeam, and/or Adobe Acrobat.
- Familiarity with web-based applications like Slack, Asana, SmartSheet, and Airtable (a plus).
- Familiarity with Sage 300 CRE (desired).
