We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Premier Nursing and Rehab Center of Far Rockaway. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and leading our nursing staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Supervision: Provide overall supervision of resident care, staff assignment, and leadership to ensure the highest degree of quality resident care.
- Clinical Duties: Complete all required record keeping forms, administer medications, admit, transfer, and discharge residents, and provide professional services as established by facility policies and procedures.
- Communication and Reporting: Give and receive nursing reports, investigate complaints and grievances, and make necessary oral and written reports to the RN Supervisor or Director of Nurses.
- Consumer Service: Present a professional image to consumers, adhere to company standards for resolving consumer concerns, and ensure that all consumer/resident rights are protected.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or an approved Registered Nurse (RN) program with a current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state in which practicing.
- Possess leadership ability and the willingness to work with and supervise professional and nonprofessional personnel.
- Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.
Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position that requires a high level of physical and mental stamina. The Registered Nurse must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions in a timely manner.
