Job Summary:

Adientone is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Certified Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will play a critical role in coordinating blood and tissue banking protocols to ensure the proper collection and handling of samples.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and implement effective policies and procedures for obtaining, processing, and handling clinical trial-driven correlative blood and tissue samples.
  • Collaborate with internal and external laboratories to ensure compliance with each individual trial.
  • Arrange courier service as needed for the transport of clinical trial blood and tissue samples.
  • Schedule urgent/emergent clinical trial-related laboratory tests, visits, procedures, and treatment.
  • Resolve schedule conflicts and ensure timely patient tracking.
  • Exercise administrative judgment and assume responsibility for decisions, consequences, and results impacting staff and patients.
  • Coordinate research phlebotomy services to ensure proper collection, processing, and documentation of sample draws.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of experience in a medical or clinical setting.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical records.

Working Conditions:

This is a contract position working in person.
