Radiation Therapist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team at a facility in McAllen, Texas. As a Radiation Therapist, you will work under the guidance of an oncologist and physicist to prepare patients for radiation treatments and administer treatments for cancer and other conditions.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for radiation treatments, including taking precise measurements and fitting them with specialized equipment.
  • Administer radiation treatments, monitoring patients' responses and adjusting treatment schedules or doses as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with a medical team to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1+ years of radiation therapy experience.
  • Active Texas license and certification.
  • ARRT and BLS certification required.
  • Experience with Varian Truebeam and Aria systems.
